'What Am I Gonna Do With You (Hey Baby)' had been recorded by Skeeter Davis in Nashville in the spring of 1964 and issued as a single on RCA Victor but failed to chart. This marvelous version by The Chiffons recorded a few months later in the fall that same year was produced by The Tokens under their 'Bright Tunes Productions' banner. With a subtle nod toward the style of Phil Spector, this outing showcasing an absolutely beautiful yet sparse arrangement and the sweetest of vocal harmonies, failed to chart as well but certainly not due to a lack in quality.
