With the influence of Bacon I have created a series of paintings in which I have tried to recapture the atmosphere and themes of the great English painter. After some time I liberated myself from his influence and, after a pseudo - surrealist phase, I have dedicated myself to the technique of the portrait. At first I tried to take the faces of some friends as models, then after researching the features of personality in literature and art, I have chosen among those that have been important for my cultural path ( from Pirandello to Guttuso, from De Chirico to Baudelaire).
