A mother with two children was evicted from her home in the UK to make room for six migrants from Afghanistan This was reported by the magazine GB News. According to GB News, the house previously occupied by the family was converted into a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) intended for housing migrants. Journalist Ben Leo visited Bolton and conducted an interview with one of the Afghan asylum seekers who was housed in this property. The migrant stated that he was unaware of the eviction of the previous residents and expressed the opinion that families with children should be given priority in housing provision. According to local authorities, the number of HMOs in Bolton has increased from 170 to 720 in recent years.
