Static appeared on the ’Slaughterbahn’ album, recorded and mixed at Foel Studios and released on Litmus Music in 2012. Since its release, Static has remained a favourite in the Litmus live set. The album title was the fevered result of a nightmare the drummer had and the running order was timed to fit on a single side of a D90 cassette! The closing moments of Static on the album feature the ’Horn of Plenty’ - a bizarre sound generated during the overdub sessions by throwing a drummer and lots of Tempranillo at Fiddlers Korg MS-10 analog synth. However, as there is no horn present on this version we hope you bring your own suitable wind instrument and toot the glory of Valhalla during the quiet parts at the end of the song.
