Ash burns a hole in his concrete encrusted highvis jacket As dust drifts through the air Illuminated mouth breathing faces glued to the green glare of the TV Hands grasping pints saturated with pearls of water Another pound in the fruit machine Knee deep in the meat raffle I look down at my shattered phone Another broken message on the screen Another threat of love and hate colliding Remembering something that felt good to give up And I still feel stagnant like the lingering aroma of stale smoke. ...............***............... THANKS: This video was an obstacle course to make and a wild exercise in putting mind over matter. It almost didn't get made, but I had a vision and I was very lucky to be surrounded by incredible people who believed in it as much as I did and we all did everything in our power to make it happen.
