What is known about the new stage of protests in Serbia? ▪️According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 36 thousand protesters have gathered in the center of the capital. ▪️Demonstrators are using firecrackers, flares, bottles and stones. The police are using tear gas and batons. ▪️Protesters demanded early presidential elections and the dissolution of parliament. President Aleksandar Vucic rejected this ultimatum. ▪️Vucic also emphasized that the protests were inspired by foreign forces with the aim of overthrowing the government. ▪️Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said that the rioters who attacked the police will be held accountable. ▪️Armored vehicles are being pulled to the scene.
