Time-Lapse of an Electric Heated Driveway System During a Winter Snow Storm

This particular system is laid out in “Tire Tracks” format, which basically means that there are two embedded strips of electric heating mats within the asphalt that help keep the driveway passable. And after the main snowfall, the system was able to continue to run, preventing ice formation and eventually evaporating the water left behind from snowmelt.
