Brazilian President Lula da Silva has yet to officially recognize Nicolas Maduro’s victory in the recent Venezuelan elections, and has even responded to allegations of election fraud by calling for new elections. Revolutionary Blackout Network’s Nick Cruse says that Lula needs to honor Venezuela’s sovereignty and butt out — otherwise he’s just a tool of the United States’ foreign policy apparatus looking to reassert control over an independent nation.
