“No More Dream“ is iconic, it's the song that was chosen for their debut in 2013. Jimin said in an interview: “At that time, PD Bang (Bang Si Hyuk) told us that because we were young kids that it would be nice to talk about issues that young kids experience. And be a representative of the youth, and that’s how this track (“No More Dream”) was created.“ ‘No More Dream’ is the quintessential song about the need to break out of society’s restrictions. More specifically, it calls for a sense of rebelliousness in today’s youth. This is especially true if one wishes to achieve their dreams. The lyrics speak of big houses, cars, and rings. School and boring public jobs are ridiculed. BTS are resisting the imposition of other people’s dreams on them. Doing what you love is the key message here.
