Finally figured out the trick to getting extra speed under the map thanks to LastExceed and ElectroLlama's runs, then optimized the start to the wall hop as much as I could. After diving underneath the level, there's an area past the big wall on the left where you get locked out of diving further in disc mode (as long as you didn't dive far enough to flip gravity.) Holding gravity here will increase your speed as you gradually get pulled upward, and if you get low enough before being locked in, you'll regain dive control just before hitting the structure above.
