Siva Tāndava Stothram: This is a vibrant hymn believed to have been composed and recited by Ravaneshwara, the ten headed King of Lanka, an ardent Siva Bhakta. As the Lord dances ecstatically, His matted hair sways; the Ganges flows down; the Damaru reverberates and it is a sight to behold. He wears the eight directions as His apparel and the daughter of the King of Mountains is His consort. He is the one worshipped by Indra and other celestial beings and He adorns the crescent moon on His head.
