Truck left hanging from a bridge 75ft in the air following crash in Louisville

Dramatic video footage shows the moment a truck crashed through a bridge's guardrail and was left dangling over the edge with the driver still inside. Sydney Thomas, the 26-year-old driver, was spooked when a pick up truck in the opposite lane swerved into him in its attempt to avoid a stalled car. This caused Mr Thomas to act fast, consequently crashing into the side of the bridge which forced the truck through the railing hanging on by only the back half of the truck. Mr Thomas was left terrified as the truck's hood broke off crashing into the water just 100 feet below him. Firefighters in Louisville, Kentucky rushed to the scene for a daring technical rescue as they were lowered from the bridge to hoist the driver to safety.
