Coventry, West Midlands. Jet aircraft, a Royal Navy Sea Hawk fighter on the tarmac, taxiing along. At the Armstrong Whitworth works, special model aircraft are made to test designs. M/S interior of the factory, with a man working on a solid wooden model. M/S George Beech places a Sea Hawk model into a wind tunnel, and adjusts pressure. He uses a rod with nylon threads to show wind flow. C/U threads. M/S Les Proctor uses a model metre on a 100th scale metal model Hunter plane, and he makes adjustments and files the wing. M/S Mr Griffiths, works on metal model guided missile. M/S Derek Cope paints a white model of an experimental aircraft in a wind tunnel, with lamp black.
