This video for Black Gold was shot in Hamburg (I think) sometime in early 1994, in support of the Direction of Correctness LP-CD, released by East-West/Warner Bros. It's one of my favorite tracks off the DOC record. I wasn't technically in the band when this video was shot, the band was still a project at that point. The visuals feature the nucleus of the project (Allen, Uli, and Herv), which paved the way to HeadCrash-the-band in the months to come. I was impressed the first time I saw this video, because the visuals actually reflect the lyrics. Plus Allen was GOING OFF as he always has (as seen in the first chorus), which set the tone for what we would both be dishing out in the years to come. I'll admit, the video does start to get repetitive but considering how little was spent moneywise, I thought it did the lyrics justice-- and its an important part of the history of HeadCrash. Lyrics: Allen Wright; Music: Herv Meyszner, Ulrich Franke; Line-up at the time: Al (vocals),
