(EDIT: this run is no longer WR, as DigitalDuck discovered that running on Spectrum 2A makes the game go faster than on Spectrum 128K. See his run here: ) Yes, we finally got sub-20 mins! How? Partly it was the discovery of several new strats in the Spectrum Speedrunning community that opened up new ways of optimising game. Another part was that it turns out that JSW runs approximately % quicker on the Spectrum 128K than it does on the Spectrum 48K. So switching this managed to save enough time to push the run into the 19:xx realms. A hollow victory? You decide. At the very least, I'm done with speedrunning JSW again (until next time). Will most likely do an update video to my tutorial at some point soon to collate all the new stuff that's been discovered though, so stay tuned.
