The only album by a duo from Bad Kreuznach (Rheinland-Pfalz). Armin Stöwe and Roland Schupp came to the conclusion that their music did not need more musicians, because more musicians did not improve their musical direction. In 1972, Sixty Nine performed at the Würzburg pop festival. Participated in joint tours with “Golden Earring” and “West, Bruce & Laing”. The dominant instrument is the organ. Most of the musical contributions came from vocalist, keyboardist and composer Armin Stöwe. Thanks to their keyboard virtuosity, Sixty Nine almost sounded like a keyboard-based quartet. The duo's musical output included very long organ, piano and moog solos based on classical works. The organ and synthesizer replaced everything - guitars, trumpets, etc. Vocals - in English... In 2005, Armin Stöwe committed suicide in an abandoned barracks near Berlin. Tracks: 01. Ballast - 00:00 02. Kolibri -05:26 03. Becoming Older - 11:43 04. Journey - 17:05 05. Paradise Lost - 22:16 06. Crayfish - 38:07 Personnel: Armin Stöwe – organ, piano, synthesizer, guitar, vocals Roland Schupp – drums, percussion, gongs
