Typhoon Trami is moving through the South China Sea towards Vietnam after passing through the Philippines. This has caused increased winds and rain in southern China. Local authorities in coastal provinces took precautionary measures the day before, including temporarily suspending sea transport at some ports in Hainan, to minimize the possible impact of the typhoon on residents and tourists.
