Kayn details how the animation team created a new in-house choreography tool, allowing the artists to create bespoke rigs so that 600 creatures could dance their way through the scenes. Ariel and her friends are nominated for Best Character Animation - Live Action at the Annie Awards. Recreating iconic 2D characters in 3D was a huge challenge for our artists.
