Sergiu Celibidache and the Munich Philharmonic in Moscow, 1988

A short film covering the Munich Philharmonic's 1988 tour to Moscow under their chief conductor Sergiu Celibidache. Includes footage from a press conference with Celibidache as well as rehearsal footage of the orchestra playing the USSR and German national anthems in St. Petersburg Music Hall. 1:01 Press conference with Celibidache 2:03 State Anthem of the Soviet Union 3:57 Deutschlandlied (German national anthem) (beginning only) Both the original video and audio had major technical problems. The original video had an overly yellow tint while the audio was very harsh and thin sounding. I have endeavoured to fix both problems as much as possible.
