Made with IL2 and CGI - January 2009. This is the first ever IL2 movie to successfully integrate CGI humans to produce a creative and engaging story. A moving story about Luftwaffe pilots in the closing period of WW2. Even though the Luftwaffe had the awesome Me-262 “Schwalbe“ turbojet fighter, they were facing insurmountable odds of Allied bombers and prop fighters. This is the story of two of these pilots. Awarded the Golden OLEG for breakthrough achievement in the integration of animated humans into a flight sim movie and for a creative and engaging story.
