Mark Anderson remembers coming to Byron Dragway some 15 years ago with his dad. At that time legendary Byron Dragway track owner and promoter Ron Leek had a fondness for the Ford Lightning performance pickup trucks. Mark's dad ran the ford dealership where Ron would purchase the trucks and then have him modify them at the Anderson Ford Motorsports facility. Jump ahead to late April of 2021 as Mark returns to the “Playground of Power“ some 15 years later to test his '86 Ford Mustang. The temperature had cooled down overnight to the low 50's with light northerly winds, clear blue skies and low humidity. It was the perfect weather for making horsepower and with a freshly prepped track Mark took advantage and put on a show the whole day!
