At least seven hecklers interrupted Nigel Farage’s speech at a Reform UK press conference on Friday 5 July. The party’s leader was due to address to supporters and the media at around 2:30pm, but the speech was delayed due to heckling from the audience. One man was escorted out of the room in Westminster before more shouting was heard as leader and new Clacton MP Nigel Farage stood behind a podium. Mr Farage repeatedly shouted “boring” in response to the heckling. As a fourth heckler interrupted him, the Reform UK leader said: “You’ll do yourself a nasty mate. you’ll have a stroke if you carry on like this.” He walked on the stage to start his speech, with the Reform UK logo and “Britain Needs Reform” on the wall behind him. He was holding the press conference after Reform won four seats at the general election.
