Yoav says: “There is an old spiritual tradition that states that every so often an individual goes through 7 years of mad difficulties and this song resonates with me on a personal and obviously universal level as well. It feels like there is a hopeful tinge to this tune as well though.“ This new track is basically a song about going through a period of tough testing times in life. “7 Years“ is his first self-produced track - all written, performed and produced in his bedroom in his native Cape Town. Yoav will continue to release self produced singles that will eventually go towards a fifth full length album, possibly some time in 2022.
