🇲🇽 CIUDAD OBREGÓN, SONORA - Are you ready for a brand new state? My 23rd! Welcome to Sonora! This is the first video from a series of 5 or 6 coming from the northwestern Mexican state of the city of Ciudad Obregón. We’ll be heading to Navojoa, Alamas, Guaymas, and San Carlos too (and maybe Hermosillo! This video is one of my 4K walkaround videos where we simply walk around a city for 30 minutes in one continuous shot (without me on camera). The NEXT VIDEO will be one of my regular style of travel videos where I will cover more ground and go into more detail on what I am looking at. Ciudad Obregón is another example of a modern city in Northern Mexico, like Los Mochis, Chihuahua, or Torreón. You might be thinking, 'Is Ciudad Obregón safe? Is Mexico dangerous?“ - these are common questions in the north. But you’ll see wide streets, mercados, regular and average shopping streets, and no colonial architecture common in the south! Traveling Mexico is more than southern colonial towns, and you’ll find some unique gems in this video as well as some extremely affluent looking areas! It may not be somewhere you would choose for a Mexico trip or vacation, a place to visit to become an expat in Mexico, or somewhere if you are considering moving to Mexico, but it’s absolutely my kind of place!
