Scots beat Ireland. Rugby match at Lansdowne Road, Dublin, Eire (Republic of Ireland, Southern Ireland). L/S Irish team running onto the pitch at Lansdowne Road. M/S of the crowd. Various shots of play in progress, Ireland, in light shirts, kick the ball right to left, Kiernan gets ball and passes to Hewitt who kicks it up field. It goes to Scottish player who tries to kick back but an Irish player intercepts. M/S Ireland in possession of the ball, it is passed to Pedlow who passes to Hewitt, he runs with the ball but is tackled by Ken Scotland and they both fall into touch. M/S crowd. M/S Ireland attacking, Pedlow runs for line then passes to McGrath who goes over for a try. M/S crowd. Various shots of Ireland attacking, Hewitt runs up to take the conversion, he does so and ball goes between the posts. M/S scoreboard showing Scotland Nil Ireland Five.
