Played by: Mad-Matt Spectrum 128k Cybernoid, released by Hewson in 1988 A great arcade shooter on the spectrum but hard as nails. The hardest part is not avoiding the enemy fire, its the timing and precision needed when getting through the moving platforms. You have to be pixel perfect in the safe spot else boom! You get multiple weapons to tackle the different rooms in a way you want and you can harvest more weapons by shooting down enemies. You need to leave each level with at least a minimal level of collected loot in order to gain a life. There are only 3 levels so when the first comes around again I play carelessly to extinguish remaining lives. There is music during gameplay which is very rare in an arcade shoot em up on spectrum. Its not bad but not as memorable as in the C64 version. - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
