HELIOPOLIS is finally done after being in the making for 3 years, and no it's not named after Acropolis, but my home town. Polis means City and Helio means sun.. The city of the sun. (tho some concepts like the level being all half speed are taken from acropolis just dont tell anyone.) Originally I gave it to ItsHybrid to continue hosting it after half the layout was done, after he got the layout finished, I decided to take it back after the level didn't really go anywhere after that and here we are a year and a half later. Thank you to everyone who helped make this level possible, at the top of the chain we have StarkyTheSalad who at first offered to decorate the entire level alone, which would've been cool, but he ended up quitting after building till the first half of the robot, and I thought it would be better to enhance the progression of the level by introducing more diverse creators later down the line, so Matty2003 and Magpipe were the best candidates for that, while it was a pain to explain exactly how the parts should look like and progress, the final product is indeed something that I'd consider one of my best projects ever. There was a part made by Swagmasta001 and DarkCacti which was good during the time Hybrid hosted it, but I didn't think it represented the vibe I wanted with the level in general, but they do deserve credit for being part of this level's history. As for the verification, I decided to give this level to an OG player named Pablohh. Many people probably haven't heard of him or have forgotten about him due to his inactivity, but he has been working on slaying this beast of a level for a while now, reaching 27%. One last thing, the whole shtick with the level being easier on lower refresh rates was discontinued, as many experiments and tests resulted in the level looking uglier and considerably buggier if we forced this method, and with the overwhelming popularity of the FPS bypass the past 2 years, we decided to just roll with it and keep it normal. For the flex though, Pablohh said he wanted to verify the level on 240hz. The estimated difficulty is unknown, but it is hard, really hard.
