#TheAllmanBrothers #Soulshine #DerekTrucks #WarrenHaynes #Slide #SoloIdeas I recently had to play a solo for a cover of The Allman Brother’s master piece Soulshine. After watching a number of live versions, this is what I came up with to make it my own. One goal I had was to transcribe a Derek Trucks inspired solo without a slide - but make it sound like it. Not sure if that worked, but at least it gives some ideas! Note the Key I play in is in G, while the original Soulshine is in B. Tabs are not perfectly aligned, but you can also find a play-along on Soundslice here: Signal chain: Gibson Les Paul Standard ’57 Reissue - Mythos Mjolnir - ThorpyFX Gunshot - Fender Deluxe Reverb - Torpedo Captor X
