This is a very short moment from Fritz Lang's melodrama CLASH BY NIGHT. This scene always stuck out for me because of Marilyn's complete naturalism (ironic because her soon-to-be legendary insecurities, tardiness and forgetfulness irritated the cast and crew), something so different from her later work as a starring actress/comedienne--I might even dare to say, something even greater and more free about her work. Also in the clip is Robert Ryan (King of Film Noir), holding her up.
