Here I do a deep dive into David Goodsell’s book “The Machinery Of Life“. David is a scientist and an artist. His art has completely changed the way we visualize the inner workings of a cell. In this review I go over several of his illustrations, explaining what’s going on. As a prerequisite (to be able to follow everything talked about here) you should already have a basic understanding of how genes code for protein.
