Do the film studios and recording industry know that you've uploaded their content?*_ -- Yes they do. 99% of the videos on this channel have been 'copyright claimed' by the various content owners. In other words, they know these videos are public, they're fine with it, and they're currently collecting ad revenue on them. _*2. Why are you asking for donations for other people's work?*_ -- I'm not. All of the ad revenue from these videos goes directly to the copyright owners, just as it should. I am merely asking for donations for my *editing efforts.* I am not taking ANY money whatsoever out of the pockets of the filmmakers or musicians. On the contrary, this channel has generated a TON of money for the various film and music media companies as well as for YouTube/Google. _*3. Why should people donate anything to this channel?*_ -- My main goal is for people to simply enjoy these tributes. No one asked me to start this channel, and no one owes me anything. But, it actually takes a lot of time to put these videos together as every clip is carefully picked, placed, and synched. If someone feels that the time/work that I put into these videos is worthy of a donation then that is their decision to which I will be greatly appreciative of. If someone disagrees and chooses not to donate, then that's fine too. A personal choice. _*4. Why don't you get a real job?*_ -- I currently work full time (non-YouTube.)
