Nissan is gearing up for a big presence in Tokyo at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, and they're bringing some seriously wild ideas with them. One of the newest vehicles they're showing off is an angular compact crossover with giant 23-inch wheels and more sharp lines than you can shake a stick at. This car looks like it's been folded up like an origami creation, and its headlights and taillights are seamlessly integrated into its sleek body. Inside, things are just as futuristic. Forget about traditional buttons and knobs – this car doesn't have any of those. Instead, you've got a few touch-sensitive keys on the edgy steering wheel. The design is inspired by origami, and the driver sits in what Nissan calls a “mobile creative studio.“ Apparently, this car is all about catering to influencers and content creators. Nissan has gone all out on the tech front, too. They've installed onboard cameras that capture everything happening around the car, and these images are transformed into cool digital landscapes using artificial intelligence. You can check out these transformed images on the three screens on the dashboard – there's a tall one in the center, flanked by two horizontal ones. But the AI does more than just make cool pictures; it also works with special sensors in the headrests to figure out the driver's mood and adjust the lighting and music accordingly. Don't expect to see this car on the road anytime soon, though. It's a super eccentric concept that's never going to see production. You can get a first look at it at the Japan Mobility Show on October 25, and it'll also be available in the video game Fortnite. If you're in Tokyo, you might have already seen it on a big 3D billboard in the Shinjuku district, alongside some other wild Nissan concepts like the Hyper Urban, Hyper Adventure, and Hyper Tourer.
