Close to the Sun | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Most indie horror games go for a pretty basic look and though that sometimes its very effective, it feels great to delve into another world created by an indie developer that is full of detail. Close to the Sun almost feels like a spiritual successor to Bioshock as we traverse the empty halls of a large cruise ship in search of the one and only Nikola Tesla. As we delve deeper into the belly of the beast, we learn of terrible experiments that were being performed and the catastrophic consequences. The game looks gorgeous, and it was awesome to roam around in it. Probably the weakest part of the game were the chasing sequences which did not feel very exciting. Also, unfortunately the story and plot twist were quite predictable but nevertheless it was amazing to visit a world envisioned like this.
