Robert Downey Jr. may have died in the MCU as Iron Man, but he's coming back as the Fantastic Four's nemesis Dr. Doom. The surprising announcement was made at the 2024 San Diego Comic Con during the Marvel Studios Panel where they also announced the Russo brothers are back to direct the next two Avenger films.
