Various shots of two elderly country gentlemen making a coracle - an ancient boat made from twigs and hide. The start by pushing long twigs into the ground and then weave a basket like structure. They bend the twigs and tie them together to form the rounded structure of the boat. The structure of the coracle is carried away and covered with a large piece of animal hide to make it water proof. Shots of men pushing a coracle out onto the river, just below a weir. The lay nets out across the river to catch fish. Shots of a man rowing a coracle into shore. N.B.
