Different elements from that decade would be seen stripping from their original look. We were asked to create a simulation for this ’peel off’ effect. “Finding the right effect for the peeling of the elements took quite some time, as there were many possibilities. The aim was to create a realistic and organic effect. We tested how it would look, if the fracture was created by a hypothetical heating of the props and different materials, but the final IDs feature a fracture of the surface plus a simulation that resembles cloth tearing. “Designing a peel-off system that would be easy to replicate in the different elements and shots was the major technical challenge. However once the aesthetic direction was defined and the production was planned accordingly, the project flowed smoothly.“ For Nat Geo VP Creative & Marketing NGCI: Emanuele Madeddu VP Branding & Creative Fox International Channels: Florencia Picco Branding Director Fox International Channels: Mariano Barreir For Superestudio CD: Ezequiel Rormoser EP: Marcos Torres For Bleed VFX VFX supervisor: Paolo Cavalieri EP: Cesar Morán Mazo
