“Kalimba de Luna“ is a 1984 single by Italian musician and drummer Tony Esposito. It was written by Esposito with his long-time collaborator Remo Licastro, pianist Giuseppe “Joe“ Amoruso, keyboardist Mauro Malavasi and vocalist Gianluigi Di Franco. “Kalimba de Luna“ was a European success. The song won the “Un disco per l'estate“ festival in Saint Vincent in 1984. The Kalimba is an African percussion instrument of the lamellaphone or plucked reed idiophone class. Distributed in Central and South Africa and on the island of Madagascar. Videos featuring the best dancers in the Melbourne Shuffle dance style. The Melbourne shuffle is a rave dance that developed in the 1980s. Typically performed to electronic music, the dance originated in the Melbourne rave scene, and was popular in the 1980s and 1990s.
