Born On The Bayou - Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Drum Cover

This drum cover was a request from my friend Michael Perry. CCR is not a go to band for me, but I have played a lot of their music over the years. This song is an interesting jam and I was sure to add plenty of my trade mark “The Hammer” fills in the song just to spice it up. FYI, I used an old Gretsch 5x14 chrome over brass snare drum with an interesting “drum mute” made for me by my Granddaughter Madee. The mute is a crocheted square that was a small “cup coaster” that I taped to my rim using gaff tape. It added a gated sound effect to the snare. Anyhow, somebody might see it flapping around and ask that question! I thought it sounded cool so I used it.
