A haunting piece of neoclassical synth music. One of my most pleasant and subtle compositions. The symbolic allegories of the video narrative are intended as a deeply pessimistic, apocalyptic reflection, in an eschatological, Christian sense. I thought also of Nietzsche’s writings on the metaphorical death of God, by our bloodied knives, and the subsequent loss of comfort, morality and joy in a cold, brutal modern world, bereft of faith. This version of events does not end well, not for anything of anything at all - trapped, butchered, and the silence and darkness of the Void.
