This drill focuses on improving thoracic rotation. Start in quadruped and rock back onto the heels to minimize the rotation that may occur from the lumbar spine. For the purpose of the demo, start with the band in your right hand. Like the traditional thread the needle exercise, take your right hand and reach through your arm and across your body, rotating to the left. When you can’t go any further to the left, allow band to pull you further if possible. Actively perform right rotation and return to the starting position. Additionally, actively rotate further to the right and also improve right rotation.
