The Little Owls are mostly present in the nest at all times of the year, so this live broadcast is online all year round. Finally the marked egg did not hatch 5 more eggs were laid on 01/04, 03/04, 05/04, 07/04 and 09/04. 2 chicks hatched on 02/05, 2 on 03/05. The fifth hatched on 04/05 Chicks were ringed on 18/05 All 5 chicks fledged successfully. 🐦 SEASON 2021 🐦 The first 2 eggs were laid on 24/04 and 26/04. On 02/04 the female little owl has sadly died in front of the camera. On 05/04 a new, ringed female appeared in the nesting box. According to her ring number, she was the first descendant of the dead bird. She was fledged from this nest in the spring of 2020. In addition to the existing 2 eggs, she laid 3 new eggs on 07/04, 09/04 and 11/04. First 3 chicks hatched on 06/05, the last 2 hatched on 07/05. On 21/05 all chicks were ringed. On 07/06 a rescued little owl chick was placed in the nest. In this season all (5 1) chicks fledged successfully. 🐦 SEASON 2020 🐦 6 eggs were laid on 23/03, 26/03, 29/03, 31/03, 02/04 and 05/04. First chick was hatched on 28/04. Next 4 chicks were hatched on 29/04 and the last one on 30/04. In this season all 6 chicks fledged successfully. 🐦 SEASON 2019 🐦 Live stream started on 01/05, when there were 3 chicks already hatched and 2 eggs. On this day last 2 chicks hatched too.
