Debut demo by this new entity belonging to the Concílio . collective (Rance, Profanação). Excellent Raw Black Metal brimming with nightly torment and anguish of a deprived soul. Carrying that flame of occult melancholy, transcendental terror and longing for a distant past that characterizes the portuguese tradition of projects like Black Cilice, Lythany or Unknown, Äbism delivers a demo of pure existential negativism carrying the agonizing screams of souls chained to the weight of time, with the vocals sometimes resembling those of Dunkel (Drakonhail, Saatkrähe), particularly in the screeching, tormenting highs of the first track.
