Video highlights of U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Vipers providing close air support during an instructor pilot flight exercise in support of the WTI course at Yodaville, near Yuma, Arizona, 2021. The exercise is part of WTI, a seven-week training event hosted by MAWTS-1, providing standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine aviation training and readiness, and assists in developing and employing aviation tactics. The Bell AH-1Z Viper is an American twin-engine attack helicopter, based on the AH-1W Super Cobra, that was developed for the United States Marine Corps. The USMC replaced the two-bladed AH-1W Super Cobra with the AH-1Z Viper, which features a new, four-bladed composite rotor system, uprated transmission, four-bladed tail rotor, fully integrated glass cockpit, upgraded landing gear and a new advanced fire control system.
