BYD's YangWang U9 EV supercar can drive on three wheels Hello friends, we meet again on the Star Sports Auto channel, this time we will discuss about Chinese automotive group BYD has released additional information about its luxury/high-performance YangWang U9 model, and the main attraction is its impressive 1,000-plus horsepower powertrain and intelligent Disus suspension system. As showcased in the two videos embedded below, the advanced suspension setup can make the entire car jump inches off the ground and also allows this electric supercar to drive without a single wheel engaged. Much like a 1960s Citroen DS could do with hydropneumatic suspension. Touted by BYD as “the industry's most advanced vehicle body control system globally.“ The suspension setup, called Disus, will be divided into several different categories that will fit into the Chinese automaker's extensive portfolio, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the driving experience.
