We’ve all heard of the Big Bang Theory, but what exactly is it all about? In this episode, we explain the sequence of cosmological events that lead to Earth’s creation, and point out the specific verses in the Qur’an that tell us how the universe was created. Allah say : Then He turned towards the heaven when it was ˹still like˺ smoke, saying to it and to the earth, ‘Submit, willingly or unwillingly.’ They both responded, ‘We submit willingly.’(11) So He formed the heaven into seven heavens in two Days, assigning to each its mandate. And We adorned the lowest heaven with ˹stars like˺ lamps ˹for beauty˺ and for protection. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing.”1 verses (41:11-12) surah Fussilat .
