Barn Owl Swallows a Huge Whole Rat

A young Barn Owl struggles to swallow a whole large rat. The parent owl has fed the young bird on its first venture out of the nest box. The young owl, with a full belly and extra weight, misjudges the nest box opening and falls to the ground then climbs up the tree and back into the nest box. #macadamia
