THIS IS AN UNPRECEDENTED CASE in the history of Ukraine and the CIS countries (Post Soviet countries). The video was attended by 16 speakers from different parts of Ukraine and 4 overseas midwives with 20-45 years of experience in accompanying home births from Germany (Cornelia Enning), New Zealand (Svetlana Williams), Argentina (Marina Lembo), and South Africa (Marianne Littlejohn). 6 countries-participants. The initiative group included Ukrainian homebirth midwives (with over 20 years of experience), obstetricians-gynecologists, pediatricians, doulas, researchers, human rights expert, public figures, journalist, and psychologists. Most of the speakers are parents of large families of children born at home. In all developed countries and even in Africa, homebirth midwifery is a normal practice and part of the medical system.
