Today, I recorded a video comparing the differences in welding current sizes when creating a large weld bead in T-joint welding. What is the difference between welding multiple layers with low current and single layer welding with high current? 1. In terms of visual aspect, both produce good weld beads. 2. The work speed is faster when single-layer welding is performed with high current. 3. Weld bead color is better for low current welding. 4. When low heat input is desired, welding multiple layers with low current is better than welding with high current. 5. When the current is high, the heat input is high, but the welding heat distortion is surprisingly small. Even if welding is done with a low current and reduced heat input, welding distortion occurs more when multiple layers
