This is the third attempt at making a VQ44 to DIP44 adapter for an XC9536 CPLD. My second attempt worked out perfectly I used Kapton tape as a mask, I used Amtech tacky flux, the soldering looked beautiful, all except the solder has bridged under the chip to the copper area left behind there. Effectively making the board useless. I'll stick it in the oven for a while and remove the chip at some point. This time I decided to mill the spare copper away so we'll see how this one goes. :)
