LAUNCH FAILURE: CERES-1 rocket of Chinese private firm Galactic Energy suffers rare setback

SADS NEWS: After a string of 9 successive successful launches, the Chinese CERES-1 private commercial carrier rocket was unsuccessful. It lost the Jilin-1 Gaofen-04 B satellite on Thursday, Sept 21, 2023 in a rare failure. Abnormal performance was detected during the flight of the rocket. The cause of the failure is under investigation.
